Purple Haze Bag and a Colorful Basket

Here's another bag for the craft fair

This one is made with a round bottom

Homespun yarn doubled...unfortunately with 2 different dye lots as you can tell. Oh well;)

A really fast project

Here is the colorful basket

I'm still working on the stripey bag...maybe I'll finish it this weekend.

  1. Really cute bag! I like that it's two different dye lots, it gives it a marble-y look I think.

  5. I like the purple bag just the way it is, it looks like you merged the colors that way on purpose. Love the stripey bag.

  6. I think having the two different dye lots for the bag really works! Created a nice ombre sort of effect!

I am currently crocheting like a maniac in preparation for a fair I am holding in November. I wish you luck, I knwo what hard work goes in to holding a craft fair. Its so rewarding though which is why I hold stalls again and again

  10. Hi, I have just found your blog and I am smitten.
Your bags and baskets are wonderful and that's before I've gone searching your earlier posts.

  11. I would love to make a couple of these baskets for my room. This has nothing to do with this post but I noticed you mention a lot that you've started a new crochet project before finishing another... I have that issue to. I was in JoAnn's Fabric today with a 20% off and it took all I had to not buy yarn for a new project. Love your work.
